Schedule for Submitting Applications for Accommodation in the Academic Year 2021/2022 - Annex no. 1 – Deposit for the cancellation fee

1.      Payment of the deposit for the cancellation fee applies to all TUL students who will be in acad. year 2021/2022 full-time students.

The amount of the deposit for the cancellation fee is CZK 1,000.

2.      Available means of paying the deposit for the cancellation fee

a.      online payment by card via the ČSOB payment gateway

b.      payment by bank transfer (only from bank accounts maintained in the Czech Republic): The deposit must be credited to the dormitory account no later than July 9, 2021. In the event that the deposit is credited to the account from July 10 to September 12, 2021, the application will be considered as late submission and included in the 2nd round of accommodation allocation. Applications for which the deposit will not be credited to the dormitory account by September 12, 2021 will be cancelled.

c.       for currently accommodated it is possible to use a payment debited to their dormitory account (in this case the current positive balance of their dormitory account must be at least CZK 1,000)

d.      by depositing cash at the dormitory reception or at the Accommodation Services office

The available means of payment of the deposit may vary depending on the type of application submitted and the approaching deadline for applications.

3.      Cancellation (annulment) of the application can be done by electronic form prior to September 12, 2021 inclusive.

   The deposit will be refunded non-cash to all who cancelled the application, to the account from which the deposit was paid. If you paid the deposit in cash or to the debit of your dormitory account, it is necessary to specify the account number for possible refund of the deposit in the accommodation application form (only bank accounts maintained in the Czech Republic can be specified). Students who did not pay the deposit in cash and did not specify the account number in the application for accommodation can pick up the deposit refund in cash at the Accommodation Services office.

4.      Students who start accommodation in the dormitory in the academic year 2021/2022 on the start date (see "Schedule for starting accommodation in the academic year 2021/2022"), shall have the deposit included in the first payment of the rent.      

5.      From students who do not cancel the application for accommodation in the prescribed manner by the set deadline (see Article 3) and have not started accommodation on the given date, the deposit shall forfeit
