Termination of accommodation at the TU dormitories in Liberec in the academic year 2024/2025

Internal Instructions of the Director of Dormitories and Canteens

 

Pick up a " Record of termination of accommodation " form at the reception.

1.      For accommodation in the months of May, June, the final settlement of the dormitory fee will be made by cash payment at receptions of blocks "A" - "F" of Harcov dormitories or at the Accommodation Office. In the month of June, the dormitory fee will be paid up to and including the day of check-out. Payment by card is possible at the Accommodation Office. Standing orders must be cancelled.

                                                                                 

2.      Turn in bed linen, keys and have your room acceptance form confirmed.

      He'll confirm this one at the dormitory: 

    - on blocks A, B, C Mrs. Kutmanová (block B, door no.: 25)

    - on blocks D, E, F Mrs. Dvořáková (block F, door no.: 102)

 

3.      Warning:

a)         The working hours of the accommodation assistants are on working days from 7:00 a.m.  to 2:00 p.m., from June 9, 2025 to June 20, 2025 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m:

Cells on blocks "A" - "F" must be completely cleaned :

-           wash curtains and drapes, wash windows - attention: in the block D, leave folded and washed curtains and drapes on the desk in the room

-           wash the bathroom and toilet, built-in wardrobes

-           take out and wash the waste bin

-           defrost the fridge and wash the cooker

-           vacuum the carpet, wash the linoleum

-           the carpet must be dry when handing over

-           return the inventory to its original arrangement

b)        The last one out of the room hands over the entire room cleaned.

c)         The last one of the flat is responsible for cleaning the common areas (toilet, bathroom, kitchen, halls, mirror, etc.).

 

4.      In case of defects (damage to inventory, paintwork, missing items, etc.), the amount of compensation will be determined according to the Dormitory Regulations Article 7, paragraph 3 l). The decision to take over or not to take over a room or cell depends on the person taking over. Please note that in case of soiling of the carpet, the resident is obliged to pay the cost of professional cleaning of the carpet in the amount of 450 CZK (the condition of the carpet is assessed when the first student checks out of the room, each resident then pays a pro rata part of the price).

Turn in a completed form with your dormitory card at the reception (defects and lost dormitory cards must be paid).

 

The closing date of dorm buildings is no later than 3 p.m. on June 20, 2025.
